Father Goose

Again, I am not listening to music. The title of this blog is the movie that I'm watching.
I have a small confession... I absolutely ADORE Cary Grant. All of his movies just make me so incredibly happy. I think that he is probably the most versatile actor of all time, and quite frankly I wish he was still making movies.
Snow! It hath returned! So much that today, while out walking, snow was actually over my boots. I feel like sharing this poem, because it is about snow, and I actually really like it! It's by a man named Jim O'Donnell, and is called Virgin Snow.

Looking out at the vastness of white
Snow had fallen throughout the night
Footprints in the virgin snow
From whom they come I do not know

Winter it has come at last
Can’t even see one blade of grass
Ice it forms on the lake
But not thick enough to take ones weight

Soon the kids will be here
Sledges out and snow ball spheres
Making angels in the virgin snow
And having fun wherever they go

The day goes and darkness comes
Kids gone home to there mums
The snow falls throughout the night
Erasing all that days snow fights

A clean sheet in the morning light
Ready for that days snow fight

I hope you enjoyed it. It says mums. British people say mums. I enjoy British people.
Do you ever just feel splendidly happy, and really for no particular reason? It's just like... There is a little bubble of joy inside of you, and it has sprung a leak. And that joy that was once in the bubble is slowly spreading around, moving from the center of my chest all the way to my toes and finger tips.
And now, I'm watching 30 Rock! I absolutely love this show. It has been a while... I decided I watched it too much and it wasn't good for my brain... So I stopped. But obviously I'm back to watching it.
Cori is singing a song about transvestites. I can honestly say this is a new experience for me.
My thumb just started twitching like crazy, and I don't know why. Make it stop! Oh, okay. It stopped.
Do you ever want to travel through time? I sure as heck do. I would LOVE to go back and see Rome in it's prime, see the future...
OH MY GOSH... Something just popped in my mouth. I had noticed a little hurt thing... And it just BLEW UP. Yick.
Oh my goodness... I just... Wow. I have missed 30 Rock. This episode... The one where Liz accidentally marries Donagy? Yeah. Funny.
Okay.
I'm going to go to bed.
Peace off!
